Electroless Nickel
Chemical nickel plating is a process of electroless metal plating. The formed coating is a nickel-phosphorus alloy (phosphorus content 10-14%). The chemical nickel coating is relatively hard, 450 - 700 HV and it reaches up to 1200 HV after heating at 400°C and above. Due to the heat treatment, the hardness and plasticity of the chemical nickel coating can be increased to match that of hard chrome.
Chemical nickel coatings are characterized by:
- very even thickness distribution, which is especially appreciated with elements of complex shape
- abrasion resistance
- plasticity
- high hardness
- high corrosion resistance in an aggressive chemical environment
- good adhesion and solderability
Chemical nickel coatings are widely used, among others. in:
- automotive industry
- mining industry
- electrotechnical and electronic industry
- engineering and foundry industry
- military industry
We have 10 years of experience in applying a chemical nickel coating, mainly cooperating with the automotive industry. We provide chemical nickel plating services in the suspension and drum process. The maximum dimensions of the elements are 1200 x 400 x 700 mm.
The production capacity is about 500 dm2 / h.
